About Me

Hello, world! My name is Taylor Moneé Roberts (She/Her/Hers), and I am an actress, activist, songstress, and everyday comedian. I hail from Cleveland, OH, and got my start in acting and performing at the renowned Karamu House. I have always been fascinated with the art of storytelling, no matter if it is used for escapism or to tell the stories of brave souls. I obtained my BFA in Acting from Ohio University. During my time at OU, I became a Co-founder, Co-Community Outreach & Recruitment Coordinator, Co-Producer, and Co-Artistic Director of a BIPOC student-led theatre company Vibrancy Theater. As a black woman in theatre, I enjoy telling stories that both educate and push the boundaries set in place for minority groups. After graduation, I continued my interest in arts administration by moving to the DMV area and working for Olney Theatre Center during the 22-23 season as an Artistic & Casting Apprentice. In the coming years, I am excited to relocate to the DMV area where I am looking forward to my growth, artistically, professionally, and personally!
In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with friends/family, listening to music (my Spotify playlists are at the bottom of the page), watching tv/movies, and traveling. I also really enjoy Charcuterie boards, Karaoke, self-care days, playing in makeup, meditational-led breathing, and watching tik tok. Well, that’s about it for me, to learn more contact me!!
